Pregnancy Testing
Women’s Clinic performs laboratory quality urine pregnancy tests. The tests detect the presence of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) hormone which circulates in a pregnant woman’s body shortly after fertilization. A positive pregnancy test (including those taken at home) suggests a high probability that you are pregnant. However, the result should be confirmed. If you think you might be pregnant, contact us to schedule a free appointment.
PREGNANCY ULTRASOUND
You may be eligible for an ultrasound to confirm and diagnose your pregnancy. If your pregnancy test is positive, our staff will determine next steps, such as an ultrasound exam, and the best time to schedule that procedure. An ultrasound can confirm a viable pregnancy and can give an estimate of pregnancy dating. This is valuable information if you’re considering abortion or your pregnancy options. All services are free and confidential.
